Step 1. Start the side step installation procedure from the driver’s side of your Silverado truck. Inspect the rocker area of the truck and locate 5 tabs (pinch weld). You need to install brackets by bolting them to the 1st, 2nd and 5th tabs. Step 2. Once the holes are located, remove the rubber plug from the larger hole.
